About Moodsurf

A software firm for problems that resist generic software

Moodsurf is a software consulting and development company. We build SaaS platforms, custom systems, computational models, and cloud infrastructure for businesses, enterprises, and public-sector organizations — the kind of work where the software has to fit the operation, not the other way round.

Mission

Why Moodsurf exists

To develop dependable software and cloud systems that help organizations improve operations, manage risk, and solve complex technical problems.

A gap sits between generic software products and the way real operations run. Organizations fall into it constantly: the process that almost fits the tool, the decision made on intuition because the data cannot be assembled, the critical system nobody dares to change. Moodsurf exists to close that gap with engineering — carefully, incrementally, and honestly.

We are deliberately a consultancy and a product builder at once. Consulting keeps us close to real operational problems; product work holds us to the standard of software that must survive without its authors in the room.

Industries

Who we work with

Different operations, one constant: decisions that matter, made better by software that fits.

Company principles

What we hold ourselves to

Understand the operating problem

We design from the operation outward — its constraints, exceptions, and the people who run it.

Design for long-term maintainability

Boring technology, readable code, and documentation written while decisions are fresh.

Build with security and reliability in mind

Access control, auditability, and failure handling are design inputs, not review findings.

Measure outcomes, not feature volume

Work is finished when the decision improves, the process shortens, or the risk drops.

Approach to delivery

How engagements run

01

Small senior teams

Engagements are staffed with a few experienced engineers who stay for the duration, rather than a rotating bench. The people who design the system build it.

02

Working software at every stage

Phases end with something written down or something running. Progress is visible in your repositories and environments, not in status decks.

03

Handover as a deliverable

Whether we support the system long term or your team takes it over, documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer are planned from the first week.
