Build software that operations depend on

Moodsurf is a small engineering firm doing consequential work: platforms, models, and infrastructure for businesses and public-sector organizations. If you like owning systems and seeing them used, you will like it here.

Working at Moodsurf

What we can honestly promise

No ping-pong-table theatre. These are the working conditions we actually maintain.

Meaningful technical work

Client platforms, models, and infrastructure that real operations depend on — not throwaway prototypes.

Clear ownership

You own defined systems end to end: design, build, and how they behave in production.

Collaborative engineering

Code review, design discussion, and pairing where it helps. Nobody works in a silo — or gets stuck in one.

Remote-ready processes

Written decisions, async-friendly reviews, and documentation as a habit, so distributed work actually works.

Professional development

Time and support to deepen your craft: new domains, new techniques, and hard problems worth learning from.

Flexible collaboration

We plan around outcomes and agreed availability, not presence — and we respect focus time.

Recruitment process

How hiring works here

  1. Step 01

    Application review

We read your application and resume — an engineer does, not a keyword filter — and reply either way.

  2. Step 02

    Introductory conversation

A 30–45 minute call about your experience, how we work, and whether the role fits what you want next.

  3. Step 03

    Technical discussion

A practical session around a realistic problem in your discipline. No trick puzzles, no whiteboard theatre.

  4. Step 04

    Team conversation and offer

Meet the people you would work with, ask anything, and receive a decision quickly after.
